A fee of 50% will be received by The Consignment Garage once items are sold.
Steps for Customer who wants to sell a piece of equipment
1. Inquire from the inquiry form with attached equipment pictures, make inquiries by phone, or visit the store directly.
2. Upon determination of condition and pricing, we will proceed with a 90-day contract-to-sell.
3. When a piece of equipment is sold, we will inform customers by Email, text, or phone call. (*2)
4. A fee of 50% will be received by The Consignment Garage once items are sold.
(*1) If customers decide to bring items directly to the store we will do a quick evaluation. We always reserve the right to decline any products that we feel will not sell. We do prefer that they send us clear photos via text or email so that they don’t waste their time.
(*2) Payment for sold items is paid via company checks. Checks are cut by Hawaii HIS corporation Dba, HIS Hawaii on the 2nd Friday of the month, so payments are delayed by one month.
(*3) After 90 days, customers need to pick up their items or may surrender them as donations to the store. We are always open to discussion about what the consignors want to do.
